സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ഇന്ന് 5643 പേർക്ക് കോവിഡ്-19 സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചു. കോഴിക്കോട് 851, മലപ്പുറം 721, തൃശൂർ 525, എറണാകുളം 512, കൊല്ലം 426, കോട്ടയം 399, പാലക്കാട് 394, ആലപ്പുഴ 381, തിരുവനന്തപുരം 370, കണ്ണൂർ 277, ഇടുക്കി 274, പത്തനംതിട്ട 244, വയനാട് 147, കാസർഗോഡ് 122 എന്നിങ്ങനേയാണ് ജില്ലകളിൽ ഇന്ന് രോഗ ബാധ സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചത്.
കഴിഞ്ഞ 24 മണിക്കൂറിനിടെ 49,775 സാമ്പിളുകളാണ് പരിശോധിച്ചത്. ടെസ്റ്റ് പോസിറ്റിവിറ്റി നിരക്ക് 11.34 ആണ്. റുട്ടീൻ സാമ്പിൾ, സെന്റിനൽ സാമ്പിൾ, സിബി നാറ്റ്, ട്രൂനാറ്റ്, പി.ഒ.സി.ടി. പി.സി.ആർ., ആർ.ടി. എൽ.എ.എം.പി., ആന്റിജൻ പരിശോധന എന്നിവ ഉൾപ്പെടെ ഇതുവരെ ആകെ 62,27,787 സാമ്പിളുകളാണ് പരിശോധനയ്ക്കായി അയച്ചത്.
27 മരണങ്ങളാണ് ഇന്ന് കോവിഡ്-19 മൂലമാണെന്ന് സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചത്. കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം മരണമടഞ്ഞ എറണാകുളം സർക്കാർ മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജിലെ ഓർത്തോപീഡിക്സ് വിഭാഗം മേധാവിയും പ്രൊഫസറുമായ ഡോ. ഇ.സി. ബാബുകുട്ടിയുടെ (60) മരണം കോവിഡ് മൂലമാണെന്ന് സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചു. ഡോ. ബാബുക്കുട്ടിയുടെ നിര്യാണത്തിൽ ആരോഗ്യ വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി കെ.കെ. ശൈലജ ടീച്ചർ അനുശോചനം അറിയിച്ചു. കോവിഡിനെതിരായി എറണാകുളം മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജിൽ നടത്തുന്ന പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളിൽ സജീവ സാന്നിധ്യമായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റേത്. ഓർത്തോപീഡിക്സ് വിഭാഗം മേധാവി എന്ന നിലയിലും ഡോക്ടർ എന്ന നിലയിലും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സേവനം മികച്ചതാണ്.

ഇതുകൂടാതെ തിരുവനന്തപുരം ആറ്റിങ്ങൽ സ്വദേശിനി ജമീല ബീവി (68), കൂവളശേരി സ്വദേശി തങ്കപ്പൻ നായർ (81), ആലപ്പുഴ എടത്വ സ്വദേശി കൃഷ്ണൻ ദാമോദരൻ (76), ചേർത്തല സ്വദേശി പത്ഭനാഭൻ (72), ഹരിപ്പാട് സ്വദേശി സുധാകരൻ (64), കോട്ടയം ഈരാട്ടുപേട്ട സ്വദേശി നൗഷാദ് (51), മീനച്ചിൽ സ്വദേശിനി നൂർജഹാൻ (47), പുത്തൻപുരം സ്വദേശിനി മിനി (48), കോട്ടയം സ്വദേശി കെ.എൻ. ചെല്ലപ്പൻ (70), ശ്രീകണ്ഠമംഗലം സ്വദേശിനി റോസമ്മ (76), എറണാകുളം വാഴക്കുളം സ്വദേശിനി പാറുകുട്ടി (65), പള്ളുരുത്തി സ്വദേശിനി മറിയാമ്മ (68), കോതമംഗലം സ്വദേശി രാമകൃഷ്ണൻ (67), കൊമ്പനാട് സ്വദേശി കെ.ആർ. സോമൻ (55), തൃശൂർ കുന്നമംഗലം സ്വദേശിനി കൊച്ചന്നം (73), നെന്മാനിക്കര സ്വദേശിനി ഷെനോസ് ലിജു (38), മുല്ലൂർക്കര സ്വദേശി മുഹമ്മദ് കുട്ടി (69), ചാവക്കാട് സ്വദേശിനി നഫീസ (70), പൂങ്കുന്നം സ്വദേശിനി ലക്ഷ്മിയമ്മാൾ (86), വരവൂർ സ്വദേശിനി ബീവി (62), മലപ്പുറം ഇടരിക്കോട് സ്വദേശി മമ്മു (62), എടപ്പാൾ സ്വദേശി അബൂബക്കർ (80), കാടമ്പുഴ സ്വദേശിനി അയിഷ (62), കോഴിക്കോട് കറുവിശേരി സ്വദേശി എം.സി. ബോസ് (81), കുറ്റ്യാടി സ്വദേശിനി പി.സി. സാറ (61), വയനാട് മുട്ടിൽ സ്വദേശി കുഞ്ഞാലി (75) എന്നിവരുടെ മരണമാണ് ഇന്ന് സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചത്. ഇതോടെ ആകെ മരണം 2223 ആയി. ഇത് കൂടാതെ ഉണ്ടായ മരണങ്ങൾ എൻഐവി ആലപ്പുഴയിലെ പരിശോധനയ്ക്ക് ശേഷം സ്ഥിരീകരിക്കുന്നതാണ്.

ഇന്ന് രോഗം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചവരിൽ 87 പേർ സംസ്ഥാനത്തിന് പുറത്ത് നിന്നും വന്നവരാണ്. 4951 പേർക്ക് സമ്പർക്കത്തിലൂടെയാണ് രോഗം ബാധിച്ചത്. 571 പേരുടെ സമ്പർക്ക ഉറവിടം വ്യക്തമല്ല. കോഴിക്കോട് 801, മലപ്പുറം 688, തൃശൂർ 513, എറണാകുളം 374, കൊല്ലം 424, കോട്ടയം 392, പാലക്കാട് 229, ആലപ്പുഴ 376, തിരുവനന്തപുരം 244, കണ്ണൂർ 247, ഇടുക്കി 244, പത്തനംതിട്ട 173, വയനാട് 134, കാസർഗോഡ് 112 എന്നിങ്ങനേയാണ് സമ്പർക്കത്തിലൂടെ രോഗം ബാധിച്ചത്.

34 ആരോഗ്യ പ്രവർത്തകർക്കാണ് രോഗം ബാധിച്ചത്. തിരുവനന്തപുരം 8, കണ്ണൂർ 5, എറണാകുളം, തൃശൂർ 4 വീതം, കോഴിക്കോട് 3, പാലക്കാട്, വയനാട് 2 വീതം, കൊല്ലം, പത്തനംതിട്ട, കോട്ടയം, ഇടുക്കി, മലപ്പുറം, കാസർഗോഡ് 1 വീതം ആരോഗ്യ പ്രവർത്തകർക്കാണ് ഇന്ന് രോഗം ബാധിച്ചത്.
രോഗം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ച് ചികിത്സയിലായിരുന്ന 5861 പേരുടെ പരിശോധനാഫലം നെഗറ്റീവ് ആയി. തിരുവനന്തപുരം 638, കൊല്ലം 152, പത്തനംതിട്ട 162, ആലപ്പുഴ 896, കോട്ടയം 215, ഇടുക്കി 148, എറണാകുളം 1001, തൃശൂർ 293, പാലക്കാട് 338, മലപ്പുറം 776, കോഴിക്കോട് 733, വയനാട് 140, കണ്ണൂർ 259, കാസർഗോഡ് 110 എന്നിങ്ങനേയാണ് പരിശോധനാ ഫലം ഇന്ന് നെഗറ്റീവായത്. ഇതോടെ 64,589 പേരാണ് രോഗം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ച് ഇനി ചികിത്സയിലുള്ളത്. 5,32,658 പേർ ഇതുവരെ കോവിഡിൽ നിന്നും മുക്തി നേടി.
സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ വിവിധ ജില്ലകളിലായി 3,15,497 പേരാണ് ഇപ്പോൾ നിരീക്ഷണത്തിലുള്ളത്. ഇവരിൽ 2,99,601 പേർ വീട്/ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റിയൂഷണൽ ക്വാറന്റൈനിലും 15,896 പേർ ആശുപത്രികളിലും നിരീക്ഷണത്തിലാണ്. 1840 പേരെയാണ് ഇന്ന് ആശുപത്രിയിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചത്.

ഇന്ന് 2 പുതിയ ഹോട്ട് സ്പോട്ടുകളാണുള്ളത്. ഇടുക്കി ജില്ലയിലെ പെരുവന്താനം (കണ്ടെൻമെന്റ് സോൺ വാർഡ് 11), കോട്ടയം ജില്ലയിലെ കൂരൂപ്പട (1, 9, 14) എന്നിവയാണ് പുതിയ ഹോട്ട് സ്പോട്ടുകൾ.
8 പ്രദേശങ്ങളെ ഹോട്ട് സ്പോട്ടിൽ നിന്നും ഒഴിവാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇതോടെ ആകെ 524 ഹോട്ട് സ്പോട്ടുകളാണുള്ളത്.
