ബെംഗളൂരു. മലയാളി നഴ്‌സ് ബംഗളുരുവിലെ സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രിയിയുടെ ശുചിമുറിയിൽ ദുരൂഹസാഹചര്യത്തിൽ മരിച്ച നിലയിൽ. കൊല്ലം എഴുകോൺ എടക്കോട് ഐശ്വര്യയിൽ ശശിധരന്റെ മകൻ അതുൽ ശശിധരന്റെ (26) ന്റെ മൃതദേഹമാണ് മാറത്തഹള്ളി സക്ര വേൾഡ് ആശുപത്രിയിയിലെ കോവിഡ് കെയർ ഐസിയുവിന്റെ ശുചിമുറിയിൽ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. രണ്ടുവർഷമായി ഇതേ ആശുപത്രിയിലാണ് നഴ്‌സായി അതുൽ ജോലി ചെയ്തിരുന്നത്. മരണത്തിൽ ദുരൂഹതയുണ്ടെന്നാരോപിച്ച് പിതാവ് പോലീസിൽ പരാതി നൽകി.

അതുലിനെ ശുചിമുറിയിൽ വീണുകിടക്കുന്ന നിലയിലാണ് കണ്ടെത്തിയതെന്നും ഹൃദയാഘാതമാണ് മരണകാരണമെന്നുമാണ് ആശുപത്രി അധികൃതർ പറഞ്ഞത്. കൂടാതെ അതുലിന്റെ മൃതദേഹം പോസ്റ്റ്‌മോർട്ടം ചെയ്യാൻ ആശുപത്രി അധികൃതർ തയാറായില്ലെന്നും മൃതദേഹം കൊണ്ടുപോകാൻ ശീതീകരണ സംവിധാനമുള്ള ആംബുലൻസ് നൽകിയില്ലെന്നും പിതാവ് ആരോപിച്ചു. അതുലിന്റെ സംസ്‌കാരം നാട്ടിൽ നടത്തി.
