മക്കളില്ലാത്ത യുവതിയെ ചികിത്സ നൽകാനെന്ന പേരിലാണ് ഭർത്താവ് പാസ്റ്ററിന്റെ അടുത്തേക്ക് കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു പോയത്. 40 ശതമാനത്തോളം മനോവൈകല്യമുള്ള യുവതി എതിർപ്പ് പ്രകടിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടും ഭർത്താവ് കഴുത്തിന് പിടിച്ച് ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്തി പീഡിപ്പിക്കുകയായിരുന്നുവെന്നും പ്രാഥമിക അന്വേഷണത്തിൽ പോലീസ് കണ്ടെത്തി.

സഹോദരിയാണ് യുവതി പീഡനത്തിനിരയായതായി പോലീസിൽ പരാതിപ്പെട്ടത്. ഇതോടെ ഒന്നാം പ്രതി യുവതിയുടെ ഭർത്താവിനെയും രണ്ടാം പ്രതി പാസ്റ്ററെയും പോലീസ് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്യുകയായിരുന്നു. പ്രതികളെ കോടതിയിൽ ഹാജരാക്കി റിമാൻഡ് ചെയ്തു.
